Great food and service. Everything is freshly prepared. The best bread and olive oil dipping sauce. Can't get enough of it. Their new daily happy hour is awesome with 1/2 drinks and appetizers from 3-7 pm. The signature Sangria is awesome. Delicious!!! Caesar salad is always good. Calamari~ yummy.

Very flavorful dishes. From the Sicilian chicken soup and steamed vegetables to the Pollo Rosa Maria and in-house made tiramisu, I had a very delectable time. There is a relaxed quality to this restaurant. My husband and I could leisurely take in the dishes, converse, and enjoy the comfy atmosphere. Our waitress was jovial and always there to refill a glass or take away a finished plate. For a random place on our cross country road trip, this place truly hit the spot.

Came here for a quick lunch, restaurant was pretty empty. It was quick, in and out in less than an hour. Their bread was good. I got a greek/italian salad and lasagna. I didn't like the Lasagna that much...My son got the steak kabob for kids and that was good. I should have gotten a kids meal! ha!

Calamari. Caesar Salad. Chicken Bryan with cavatappi. Raspberry Italian Soda. Is there a lunch more perfect than this? I was so glad I only sampled a small piece of bread with the dipping oil. I'm a bread lover and it took some restraint, but seriously every morsel I was served here was awesome. I was so glad I didn't spoil my appetite! Came with a group of six at noon on a Friday and we were immediately seated. There's several places I love to go that would not have been able to do that. The whole experience felt easy and relaxed and the food came quickly. Highly recommend this gem!

I know - it's a franchise, so what do you expect right? Chicken plus cheese plus 7 cherry tomatoes that are halved and a glass of water for $13.87 plus tip. Not the lunch I was envisioning. I wandered if the other 5 customers in the restaurant were thinking the same thing. This place used to be better and hope it returns that kind of standard some day soon.

While I am typically impressed with most Carabba's, this particular one just amazed me. We had a server (named Connor..highly recommended) who was just wonderful. My wife and I had both of our families and our three children with us and he was wonderful, patient and attentive. A manager whose name escapes me (she was what I believe was of east asian decent and pregnant) was equally as wonderful and took a great deal of time and care to make sure our stay was wonderful. In my opinion, this location should be a template for all other Carabba's. We are customers for life!

Soup was great the baked pasta dish had never seen an oven. Cold limp lifeless. Management worked hard to make it better but by then I was past it.

Chicken Bryan...nuff said. Smoky wood-fired grilled chicken topped with creamy and tart goat cheese medallions and soft sun-dried tomatoes. To top it off with a perfect sprinkle of basil and then dress it up with a beautifully smooth lemon butter sauce that you will want to take a bath in ;) I'd love to show you what it looks like. .. but I ate it.

I have eaten at Carrabbas in Austin Texas. The food there has always been very good. There service here was very slow at first. When I asked someone who my waiter was it picked up from there. I asked for a salad with the Parmesan dressing on it. The one that comes already tossed. When it came the dressing was on the side. I ordered capellini with pomadoro sauce. I wanted a half order and was told they don't do that. They do that regularly in Texas. The angel hair was gritty. Like it had not been rinsed. It also needed salt. The chocolate brownie desert was good. The wait staff were very nice. Not sure I would come back to this restaurant. It just was not great food.

Came here for a Sunday dinner. The food was fresh and they came out in a timely manner. The bread with Olive oil dipping saurce was awesome, I cant get enough of. The chicken masala was very favourful, the mushrooms and the sauce go so well together. I would love to go back and try some more their dishes.

My husband enjoyed it but I found it kind of lacking. I ordered a martini but I was given a different to drink. I don't know where the waitress went but I ended up drinking the wrong drink anyway because I got tired of waiting. It turned out pretty good. The muscles were awesome but our fettuccine Weezy was a greasy mess. I wish they would bring back the clams linguine.

We celebrated my friend's birthday here and the food was great. Would have loved to see a little more seafood but still was delicious!

Decent service. The food we had was really bland and my Italian soda barely had any flavor other than the carbonated soda

The most delicious pasta I ever had in my life. Shrimp and scallop linguine alla vodka, and our server Julien was amazing. He's the best server I've ever had. So courteous and nice.

So glad we chose Carraba's tonight! What a special treat for our family. Loved the interior design. Being greeted warmly is always nice! We were promptly seated and offered drinks and hot, fresh bread with a delightful herb seasoning! Really yummy! Between us all we ordered 3 entrees and had a gracious plenty. We enjoyed chicken parmigian and spaghetti, chicken fettucini with mushrooms and peas, and lasagna. Soup came with the meal and I must tell you how fabulous the spicy lentil soup with sausage was! All of our entrees were outstanding! Our server, Madolyn, was very attentive and pleasant. We really appreciated her great service. She was right on time and showed up throughout the meal to check on us. Nice job, Madolyn!

We ate there Wednesday, March 4th and the food and service never disappoints us. My only complaint is the bread served wasn't warm....

Had the Tag Pic Pac with shrimp with ministroni soup and the bacon with caramelized onions on flat bread. The food tasted decent, the flat bread was a little too sweet for me though but everyone else seemed to love it. The soup was a little bit too fatty but you could barely tell, if I wasn't specifically looking for it I probably wouldn't have noticed, but still had well balanced flavors. The chunks in the soup were a little too small for my preference but then again that's my preference. The shrimp was properly cooked but the flavor was taken to it's full potential. Also I noticed there were a lot of fairly large chunks of garlic in the pasta but when I ate the chunks they weren't very flavorful. Typically in my own cooking that issue arises with garlic that has been frozen a little too long. So the dish as a whole was lacking in garlic flavor but the other herbs were decently done. It's not the best Italian I've had but good enough to eat at again. The pricing of the food was a little more expensive. It was about $13-$15 per dish and it was just enough food to fill you up. The appetizer was $7 and could feed around 5 people. They also served free fresh bread with a special seasoning (looked like oregano and parsley probably) and olive oil mix to dip the bread in, unfortunately once the main course came they actually took the remaining bread away and didn't bring any more, it was really good bread. The waiters were really nice and patient and accommodating they strived to make sure our glasses were never empty. Though they did mess up me and a friends drink order refill. We had ordered coke and after finishing the first one our refills came in new cups but were not coke, mine had a strong vanilla flavor to it and his was a flat diet. From what I knew no one at our table ordered anything like that so my guess would be they mixed our drink up with another tables, which they were not very busy so I was rather disappointed by that.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
